Anita H. Hurlburt

Attorney

Anita was raised in Oslo, Norway. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English – Rhetoric and Language, cum laude, from the University of Alaska Anchorage and graduated cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. During law school, Anita served as summer clerk for Chief Justice Mark E. Recktenwald of the Hawaii Supreme Court, externed for Judge Dayna Beamer of the Honolulu Immigration Court and with a criminal defense firm, and worked for a boutique civil litigation law firm. Following law school, she serves as law clerk at the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals to Judge Alexa D. M. Fujise for one year, then as interim law clerk to Chief Judge Lisa M. Ginoza and Judge Clyde J. Wadsworth.

After her clerkships, Anita relocated to Boise, Idaho, where she entered into private practice with a civil litigation defense firm before joining Quane McColl, PLLC. Her primary practice areas include medical malpractice, agricultural, and real estate litigation defense.

Anita is admitted to practice law in Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Anita values spending time with her husband and children and enjoys a plethora of outdoor activities, home improvement projects, and various creative arts.
