Vala L. Metz
Attorney
Vala focuses her practice on the defense of medical practitioners and facilities statewide.
Vala obtained degrees in history and law from the University of Idaho, working with the Idaho Conservation League and the Office of the United States Attorney in externship. Following law school, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Trevor N. Stephens, a Superior Court Judge serving Alaska’s First Judicial District in Ketchikan, Alaska.
At the end of her clerkship term, Vala relocated to the Treasure Valley where she entered into private practice with a civil litigation defense firm in Eagle, Idaho. Since joining Quane McColl, PLLC, she is proud to continue in the firm’s tradition of providing high-quality legal counsel to members of Idaho’s great medical community.
Outside of practice and professional associations, Vala spends her free time with family and friends, taking in live music, traveling, and getting outdoors. She is a founding member of an all-women’s paddleboarding club.
