Michael Witry
Attorney
Michael is originally from Dubuque, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in History. He moved west to get his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law. During law school, he served as a summer intern for the Municipality of Anchorage Department of Law.
After graduation, Michael embarked on a career of public service. He practiced in the Canyon County offices of Idaho Legal Aid Services before relocating to Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, where he served as a staff attorney for the judiciary and as an Assistant Attorney General. After leaving Saipan, he returned to the Treasure Valley and took a position at the Intermountain Fair Housing Council. Immediately before joining Quane McColl Metz, Michael was a Deputy Attorney General representing the Idaho Department of Insurance.
Michael is perhaps too indoorsy for Idaho. He regularly performs in improvised theater and is the author of a professionally published science fiction short story. He serves his church in various capacities and would play more golf if he had the chance.
